Shape

Earth is covered with sculptures, votive candles, paintings, runic signs – in an immense cemetery of the ages. All are monuments. A consciously and unconsciously penned history of nations. Every nation has been entered into this great book of history. Even birds make their nests in assorted architectonic forms, as it were. Centuries pass – and history accrues incessantly, the number of new monuments growing. Consequently, they carry much more profound meanings, and as such cannot be approached from a utilitarian position only.
XAWERY DUNIKOWSKI

There is no such thing as absolute form; content remains
the most important factor of all – the perfect form is the one identified as best at “carrying” content rather than existing to the sole purpose of its loveliness; beauty must necessarily remain an unintended value, in semblance of nature.
